I think it’s quite fun to play in the moment, but it doesn’t quite have the One More Run hook of a proper roguelike. I found myself tabbing out to look at Twitter or check my Phantom Abyss Gameplay emails between runs because I wasn’t feeling a strong pull to start the next level.

And double jump B tier. Heart container is better than double jump. You want long whip and wings anyways, so double jump is pretty useless, plus it glitches out sometimes.

I understand that is due to the servers being reset but perhaps a forced progression reset wasn't the best idea.
Despite all my efforts to line it up in the right way, it would only occasionally work. This meant almost instant death every time, which was especially frustrating when I was trying to outrun a Guardian.
